The MCLZ 5mm and MCLZ 3.5mm are ISO 17712 clause 5 & 6 certified “H” seals that are also UK Customs accepted. This certification illustrates the high standards that the seals were developed to meet, thereby providing assurance to the customer that they can be confidently used when faced by the toughest of environments.
The two seals provide excellent tamper evident features and protection against unauthorised attempts to access goods. Features include the non-linear lock body mechanism designed to prevent shim attacks and which offers unmatched protection against picking. Also, the shock proof ABS plastic which is moulded over the lock body provides clear evidence of any tampering. It also provides a clear laser marking area for permanent serial number, bar code and customer name or logo.

MCLZ 3.5mm
The MCLZ 5mm is ideal for use on securing containers for Sea freight and road transport, whilst the MCLZ 3.5mm is a versatile high security cable seal, which can be used to secure goods in transit for trucks, trailers and other road transport methods. Having the correct seal will be critically important to remove any potential issues with the extra security checks and declarations at UK ports which could be as many as 200m more per annum.

There is also a requirement for “I” classified seals to secure road transport between the UK and mainland Europe, as well as Ireland. Mega Fortris offers the Domino SP which is ISO 17712 clause 5 certified and “I” classified within current standards.
The Domino SP offers ultrasonic welding between cap and seal which cannot be cut or forced open without showing some detail of tamper evidence. It features a strong and durable metal strap fit for harsh handling and climate elements with a corrosion proof plastic marking surface. It also offers a clear laser marking area for a permanent seal number, bar code and customer name or logo, and alignment holes to ensure easy inspection of proper sealing.
